BIO
Sarin Kodappully is a die-hard racer.
He was driving go-karts and riding bikes since before he was 10, and started racing karts competitively at 15. Karting took him racing from the local to the national level, at dozens of tracks across the USA and Germany.
Since then, Sarin has raced wheel-to-wheel in open-wheel formula cars, SCCA, and endurance racing.
Sarin also competes in other forms of motorspots, such as time attack, autocross, and sim racing.
During the week, Sarin is a vehicle dynamics engineer for Nexteer Automotive. He develops, simulates, and tests advanced control systems that change the handling of passenger vehicles. This involves limit-driving of vehicles with prototype technology at test tracks and proving grounds. Because of that, Sarin has some of the highest driving credentials in the automotive industry. Additionally, Sarin has 7+ inventions in the field of vehicle dynamics and control (patents pending), as well as a Masters Degree in Automotive Engineering with a focus on Dynamics & Controls.
